As a Senior Data Engineer, you will take ownership of a critical part of our data pipeline. You’ll be responsible for managing the ingestion, processing, and storage of large-scale data events, ensuring data quality, and building endpoints for new reporting and analytics features. You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies to help us innovate and streamline our activity tracking and reporting systems. We are a dynamic team focused on creating a state-of-the-art scalable activity tracking, reporting, and an export solution that serves as a foundation for data innovation. Our services handle the entire data lifecycle, from event ingestion and processing to storage and reporting across various APIs and data platforms. What you’ll do: - Lead the pipeline from API Gateway to Kinesis, S3/Iceberg, and Athena, managing multiple data layers for the activity database in the Data Lake. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting, analytics, and product features as we move from the migration phase to the feature development phase. - Maintain and optimise the data pipeline, ensuring efficient storage and processing of events using technologies such as Iceberg, Athena, OpenSearch, dbt, Clickhouse, Glue & more. - Provide support and guidance in the design and maintenance of data architectures and databases.
