Qualifications Here’s what we’re looking for: - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering - Experience: 4+ years of experience in transmission line design, analysis, or construction. - Skills: - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Effective communication and teamwork abilities. - Strong understanding of electrical and structural principles related to transmission substations and network grid. Nice to have: - Prior experience in performing Grid Connection related (Digsilent, ETAP, PSSE/PSCAD/ Equivalent) dynamic or advanced power system studies is mandatory. - Experience in preparation of technical study reports for Renewable Energy Grid Connection works (Wind Farm / Solar PV / Hybrid / BESS / Other Equivalent) is desirable. - Experience in protection coordionation studies - Experience in working as technical expert in consultancy firm is desirable. - Exposure to International standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI, Australian Standards and Middle East region codes and standards) is recommended. - Proficiency in engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD). Qualifications Here’s what we’re looking for: - Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. - Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in substation secondary engineering, with at least 1 year in a technical leadership or supervisory capacity. Required Technical Skills: - Advanced understanding of secondary systems design including: - Protection relays, control panels, and interlocking schemes - Station service design and AC/DC distribution - Communication networks and protocols (IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus, etc.) - Experience in full lifecycle execution of EPC/Design-Build substation projects. - Hands-on experience with engineering tools like AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, SEL, DIGSI, ABB relay tools. - Expertise in relay settings, logic development, and coordination studies. - Familiarity with NERC PRC compliance, cybersecurity requirements, and substation physical and logical zoning.
