Job Description Your Responsibilities: - Being involved in all phases of software engineering, from inception to coding, testing, delivery and operation; - Developing high quality code that follows best practices and clean code principles; - Advocate for improvements to product quality, security and performance; - Collaborating with other engineers or team members on various layers of the infrastructure, in order to design and launch new features; - Interacting with the client in order to understand and characterize their needs and advise them if necessary. Qualifications Required key competencies and qualifications: - Proven experience with C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, Rest API, Visual Studio; - Proven experience with JavaScript on frontend side web & mobile (React.JS, React Native, TypeScript, Redux); - Knowledge of microservices architecture; - Strong experience with unit and integration testing across .NET backends and React frontends; - Proven knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL); - Working experience with version control (Git); - Docker, Kubernetes knowledge and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions); - Knowledge of async messaging/queues is a plus (e.g: NATS, Pub/Sub, Kaffka); - Experience with cloud technologies is a plus (e.g:GCP); - You should be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility, keen on adding customer value into a modern system meant to be used worldwide by METRO suppliers; - Very good fluency in English (written and verbal).
