Job Description Your Responsibilities: - Define Platform Architecture Strategy & Roadmap - Set the vision for how the platform evolves, ensuring alignment with business goals and enterprise architectural principles. Define the target solution landscape, manage cross-platform dependencies, and drive roadmap execution; - Design Scalable & Secure Architectures - Create robust designs that balance performance, reliability, cost, and security, while meeting business and compliance requirements; - Select and Govern Technology - Evaluate and choose tools/technologies, establish standards and guardrails, and guide design decisions across squads in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture and the Design Council; - Ensure Operational Excellence - Drive automation, observability, resilience, and performance improvements. Monitor platform KPIs and recommend architecture changes to continuously improve reliability and efficiency; - Maintain & Evolve Architecture Documentation - Keep architectural artifacts up to date as a single source of truth for stakeholders. Qualifications Required key competencies and qualifications: - Strategic & Systems Thinking - Ability to connect platform evolution with business strategy and enterprise architecture principles. Skilled at balancing short-term delivery with long-term platform sustainability; - Technical Architecture Expertise - Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, APIs, integration patterns, and microservices. Proficiency in designing for scalability, reliability, performance, and security; - Governance & Standards - Strong grasp of technology governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Ability to define and enforce architectural guardrails without stifling innovation; - Collaboration & Influence - Effective at working across squads, product teams, and enterprise architects. Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to both engineers and business leaders; - Operational Excellence Mindset - Knowledge of DevOps/SRE practices, automation, observability, and monitoring. Ability to interpret platform KPIs and drive continuous improvements; - Documentation & Knowledge Management - Disciplined in maintaining architecture artifacts in tools like LeanIX, Confluence, and SharePoint; - Innovation & Future Readiness - Awareness of emerging technologies (cloud, container orchestration, AI/ML, serverless, edge computing). Capable of running PoCs and evaluating new trends for platform adoption. Please note that this role is open also for candidates in Brasov and Cluj.
