Overview As the Senior Data Product Manager for Personalization, you will own the vision, strategy, and execution of Superbet’s unified Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Personalization Service. Currently, our customer understanding is federated across different verticals, leading to static or fragmented experiences. Your mission is to build a centralized data product that provides a holistic understanding of our customers' preferences, history, and needs. By delivering the right data at the right time, you will empower every product team—from Sports and Gaming to Social and CRM—to serve personalized content, messaging, and experiences that drive deep engagement. Key responsibilities Product strategy & vision - Develop a long-term product vision for a unified CDP and Personalization Service that moves the company from static experiences to data-driven, personalized ones - Define the evolution from initial MVP to a full-scale platform supporting complex ML models for Social, Generosity, and Engagement Defining the “What” and “Why” - Translate business goals and user requirements into well-defined problem statements, expected business impact, and success metrics - Identify and prioritize the key data points, such as betting history, team preferences, and real-time impressions, that will drive high-impact personalization Roadmap & stakeholder management - Build and maintain a prioritized product roadmap for experimentation, balancing quick wins with strategic, long-term initiatives - Collaborate with ML team and cross-functional tribes to gather feedback, refine requirements, and drive alignment to build a personalization service that seamlessly enables dynamic layouts across the key pages (e.g. homepage, sports, gaming) Cross-functional collaboration - Partner closely with Engineering Managers and Software Engineers to build a scalable architecture that moves away from daily batch processing toward real-time data serving - Collaborate with Data Science to develop and document subjective heuristics, recommendations, and inferences within a unified metric store Execution & delivery - Clearly communicate product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to engineering teams - Manage the development cycle for data materialization, ingestion, and API development - Define clear API contracts that provide explainability by default, ensuring product teams understand why specific results or fallbacks are provided to a customer Performance & impact tracking - Define and track optimization metrics across various surfaces, including Homepage Engagement, Search Engagement, and CRM Campaign Engagement - Implement frameworks to test hypotheses regarding data weights (e.g., history vs. popularity) to ensure personalization trumps static defaults as customer data grows Domain expertise & thought leadership - Act as the internal expert on CDP architecture, identity stitching, and the transition from manual heuristics to automated ML models - Champion a culture of "explainability," ensuring that all personalized experiences can be clearly audited and understood by both technical and non-technical teams Qualifications Education & experience - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technical or analytical field - 6–8+ years of product management experience, specifically focused on data products, CDP/CRM platforms or recommendation engines Technical & domain expertise - Familiarity with data infrastructure (Snowflake, ETL pipelines) and the challenges of scaling complex data aggregations for real-time use cases - Understanding of heuristic-based vs. ML-based personalization and how to normalize data points to balance history against popularity - Exposure to data infrastructure, ETL pipelines, BI tools, and relevant technologies Product management skills - Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies - Strong skill set in "Data Discovery" and translating complex customer behaviors into actionable data points for engineering teams Strong differentiators - Hands-on experience building or implementing a Customer Data Platform (CDP) at scale - Previous experience in the online gaming or sports betting industry - Experience solving "Identity Stitching" challenges across social and transactional platforms About us We are a global technology company dedicated to building the future of entertainment and fan-centric experiences.
