Job Description As a Solution Architect within Coface BI, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical and functional architecture of our business intelligence platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with product teams, developers, and stakeholders to design scalable, secure, and Data led solutions that align with business goals of growing double digit revenue year on year. Key Responsibilities Functional Architecture - Collaborate with product teams to gather and clarify business requirements. - Working as a team with the Enterprise and Data architects, to solve business problems. - Analyze legacy systems and source code to understand current processes. - Document functional needs and architecture in Confluence. - Conduct gap analysis between legacy systems and new business needs. - Design modular, scalable functional architectures and transition strategies. - Define integration points for parallel operation with legacy systems. Technical Architecture - Select appropriate technology stacks through POCs and benchmarks. - Design and implement robust, scalable technical architectures. - Ensure alignment between functional and technical designs. - Conduct code reviews to enforce architectural standards. Implementation Oversight - Monitor development progress and ensure adherence to architectural guidelines. - Support teams in resolving technical challenges and optimizing performance. Qualifications 10+ Years Experience in: - Full-stack architecture: infrastructure, data, microservices, and front-end. - Designing APIs, web platforms, and mobile apps for credit, insurance, or compliance. - Data strategy, integration, and orchestration. - Skilled in applications that support big data, with a bonus being in the B2B data space - Rules engine design and implementation. - Infrastructure migration and modernization (on-prem/cloud). - Agile team leadership and outsourced development coordination. - Operating in regulated environments (e.g., financial services, insurance). - Security, compliance, and incident management. Technical Skills - Enterprise architecture components and integration patterns. - Modeling languages: UML, ArchiMate. - ITIL and governance frameworks. - DevOps and CI/CD methodologies. - Network and security architecture principles. - Experience with data-centric applications and platforms. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Understanding of API gateways, event-driven architecture, and serverless computing. Behavioral Competencies - Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. - Adaptability in hybrid and remote work environments. - Ability to coach and mentor technical teams. - Fluent in English (written and spoken); French or Romanian is a plus. General Skills - Strategic leadership and innovation mindset. - Strong stakeholder engagement and communication. - Ability to align IT strategy with business transformation goals. - Experience managing global IT teams and multi-cloud environments. - Familiarity with frameworks like TOGAF, SAFe, or COBIT. Qualifications - Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Certifications in cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), Agile, or cybersecurity. - Experience in financial services, insurance, or compliance-driven industries.
