We are looking for a senior Senior Substation Secondary Systems (P&C) Engineer (Bucharest/ Remote in Romania).

Job Description Here is what you will do: Design and Implementation: - Responsible for the electrical engineering secondary circuits for HV Substations. - Provide mentorship for the other electrical engineers in our High Voltage team. - Working with Project Engineer and Project Manager on developing design schedules and budgets for electrical engineering work activities. - Assist in the design and development of secondary systems for T&D projects. - Support the implementation and commissioning of protective relay schemes, control systems, and communication networks. Documentation and Reporting: - Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, reports, schematics. - Generate basis of design documentation for protection and relay configurations. - Generate reports on system performance, project progress, and testing outcomes. - Reviewing engineering work performed by peers. - Supporting projects during construction, start-up, and commissioning. - Ensure compliance with industry standards, company specifications, and regulatory requirements. Collaboration and Support: - Work closely with senior engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. - Provide technical support during project execution and address any issues related to secondary systems. - Review and approve technical documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and reports. Compliance and Standards: - Ensure all designs and implementations comply with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. - Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and industry best practices. Qualifications Here’s what we’re looking for: - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. - Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in Secondary Substation Systems Skills: - Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering secondary substation systems. - Experience on full EPC, Design/Build projects from start to finish. - Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise. - Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables. - Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor and lead for team. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Nice to have: - Good knowledge of Relay Settings for ABB Relays Family, GE Relays Family, Siemens Relays Family & SEL Relays Family. - Protection Coordination experience. - Commissioning Field Experience. - Knowledge of the Control Equipment (Protection Relays, PLC, Concentrators, etc.). - Knowledge of SCADA and Communication Protocols. - Familiarity with protective relaying, control systems, and communication networks. - Proficiency in using engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP).
