Job Description The desired candidate is an experienced data architect. As part of the Coface architecture team, he will be responsible, in conjunction with another data architect located in our Bucharest premises, for implementing Coface's "data centric" policy. To this end, the Data Architect will have to: - Develop and maintain enterprise data models, data flow diagrams, and architecture frameworks. - Create and maintain standards and best practices for data architecture to ensure quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements (data privacy etc.). - Support the implementation of data governance (in liaison with the Data Office). - Conduct and participate to PoCs related to data topics (assess new technologies, solutions, approaches). - Advise on any data related aspects of the organization. - Maintain architecture repository on data. - Innovate, keep up to date on data technologies, standards. Qualifications Required Technical Skills - Very good knowledge of data modelling: Conceptual vs Logical vs Physical model, data structures, datawarehouses paradigm – Inmon vs Kimball, graphs etc - Very good knowledge of databases (relational – especially Oracle, No-SQL – especially MongoDB, graph) - Very good knowledge of SQL - Knowledge of other languages (Python, GraphQL etc.) - Knowledge of virtualization concept and tools (Denodo) - Minimal knowledge of Java architectures and frameworks - Knowledge of reporting tools (Power BI, SAP BO) General Architectural Skills - Knowledge of TOGAF will be a plus, as the architecture team is in the process of redesigning the architecture procedures and documents based on this method. - Ability to work in all architecture layers, the candidate may be required to work on the rationalization of computer systems, particularly at the data level. Other skills required - A very good level of English is essential (all written documents in English, many oral and written exchanges with our colleagues all over the world). - The knowledge of the insurance business allows you to get into projects more quickly. In addition, the candidate must: - be able to position oneself as an internal expert/referent - demonstrate technical curiosity and a willingness to learn - have a strong ability to discuss technical issues with DBA production teams and network / unix / windows experts Additional Information What is it like to work at Coface Technologies?
