As an experienced Azure Architect, with a proven track record of designing and implementing cloud-based solutions and a strong background in Azure services and architecture you will: - Design and implement enterprise-grade Azure AI-solutions: Build scalable, highly available, and secure Azure-based solutions in our environment, leveraging Azure cloud services. Ensure designs follow best practices and meet performance, security, and regulatory requirements. - Translate complex business logic into scalable and secure technical requirements for architecture definition and setup in Azure cloud services. - Guiding and empowering colleagues, providing best security, compliance, cloud and networking practices in Azure. - Drive continuous improvement: Further develop our service portfolio by contributing to performance optimizations, cost improvements, and evolving architectural standards. Lead initiatives to refine processes, improve reliability, and implement new Azure features that add value. Key Skills and Experience: - Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, especially Azure Network, Infrastructure, Security and IAM - Azure Functions, Azure AI Foundry (Azure OpenAI GPT-4.1, o1-preview, whisper), Azure AI Search, Azure Web Apps, Azure DevOps, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Cloud Security, EntraID - Compute & Containers: Azure App Services for hosting web applications and APIs; Azure Functions for serverless computing and workflow orchestration; Virtual Machines and VM Scale Sets configuration; containerization with Docker; and use of Azure Container Registry for managing container images. - DevOps & Automation: Experience setting up automated build/deploy pipelines and scripting to automate Azure resource management and routine tasks. Nice to have - Relevant certifications preferable, such as AZ-305 Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, AZ-205 Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, or AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals - Knowledge of Azure Monitor or Log Analytics to derive insights is a plus. - Experience with Infrastructure As Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM/Bicep templates. - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding Education and Experience: - Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (a Master’s degree or additional training in cloud technologies/architecture is a plus) - Experience: 6+ years of professional IT experience with at least 4-5 years focused on designing, implementing, and deploying solutions in Microsoft Azure - Demonstrated history of delivering enterprise-level Azure projects from concept to production. Experience in consulting or client-facing projects is advantageous, as is any background leading cloud transformation initiatives or migrations. - Hands-on ability to configure and integrate multiple Azure components is a plus.
