Job Description About the projects: We are expanding our teams to support two independent projects, each addressing different business domains and technical challenges. While the projects differ in scope, context, and product focus, they share a common emphasis on quality delivery, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Depending on experience and interests, candidates may contribute to one of these initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams and customer stakeholders. Project 1 Our customer is a German full-service payments provider offering cashless transaction solutions, including network operations, card acceptance, online and in-store payments. Our projects range from developing new functionalities for existing products, to system modernization or migration, and even full-cycle software development, all within an Agile framework—mostly Scrum or hybrid approaches. As we are in the early stages of collaboration, our team is growing and brings together diverse skills, including Business Analysis, Testing, Project Management, and Software Development. We prioritize strong communication both within the team and with our customer-side peers, and we’re prepared to support ramp-ups and deliveries while facilitating sustainable learning paths for each team member. Overall, we strive to enjoy the work we do, both individually and as a team. Project 2 The project supports delivery operations through POST (Point of Sales), a mobile application used by drivers to manage delivery-related information. The application covers logistics aspects such as delivery grouping, delivery zones, scheduled time slots, and related operational details. Responsibilities: - Mobile Application Development → Research, design, write, and test mobile applications using Agile software development methodologies to deliver value iteratively and adaptively. - Continuous Improvement & Technical Growth → Actively support the improvement of the tech community by fostering and applying continuous integration and continuous delivery practices that enhance team efficiency and software quality. - Cross-Team Collaboration → Engage with all stakeholders to gather feedback, align expectations, and collaboratively evolve the product toward higher quality and business value. - Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving → Identify and resolve challenges independently or in coordination with the team, ensuring the project progresses smoothly and meets technical and functional needs. Qualifications Must have: - 3+ years of experience in Android development within a professional software engineering environment - Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin; Java is a plus - Experience building Android applications using modern Android frameworks and practices (Jetpack components, Jetpack Compose) - Familiarity with dependency injection, networking, and asynchronous programming (e.g., Koin/Hilt, Retrofit/Gson, Coroutines) - Solid understanding of clean architecture and common Android architectural patterns (MVP, MVVM, MVI) - Experience with testing, debugging, and performance optimization (e.g., JUnit, Mockito/Mockk, Robolectric) - Proficiency with version control systems and collaborative tooling (Git, Atlassian, or similar) - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to different project contexts - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to work effectively both independently and in a team - Nice to have: - Experience with multi-module Android projects, CI/CD pipelines, and modern deployment practices - Familiarity with frontend technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular), deep understanding of the Android SDK. - Exposure to accessibility standards, localization, analytics, and UI enhancements (WorkManager, Paging, Lottie) - German language skills Additional Information At Accesa you can: Enjoy our holistic benefits program that covers the four pillars that we believe come together to support our wellbeing, covering social, physical, emotional wellbeing, as well as work-life fusion. - Physical Wellbeing: Our wellbeing program includes medical benefits, gym support, and personalized fitness options for an active lifestyle, complemented by team events and the Healthy Habits Club. - Work-Life Fusion: In very dynamic industries such as IT, the line between our professional and personal lives can quickly become blurred. Having a one-size-fits-one approach gives us the flexibility to define the work-life dynamic that works for us. - Emotional Wellbeing: We believe that to maintain our overall health, we need to invest in our mental wellbeing just as much as we do in our physical health, social connections or in achieving work-life balance - Social Wellbeing: As a growing community in a hybrid environment, we want to ensure we remain connected not just by the great work we do every day but through our passions and interests Company Description Accesa is a leading technology company headquartered in Cluj-Napoca, with offices in Oradea and 20 years of experience in turning business challenges into opportunities and growth. Pre-apply checklist

Quickly verify the listing has the essentials so you can compare offers fairly.

  • Is the salary gross or net, and what period is it for?
  • Is it employee (CIM) or contractor (B2B/PFA/SRL)?
  • What does “remote/hybrid” mean in practice (office days, overlap)?
  • Is the scope and seniority level clear?

Flag missing or inconsistent details so the listing stays accurate.

How to evaluate this job (beyond the title)

A strong application is not just “I know the stack”. It’s proof you can deliver outcomes in this specific context: team setup, constraints, seniority expectations, and the way success is measured. Use this checklist to decide whether to apply and what to highlight.

Clarify scope and expectations

Many ads are intentionally broad. Your job is to identify the core responsibilities and whether they match your strengths today.

  • Look for ownership signals: “design”, “architecture”, “lead”, “on-call”, “mentoring”.
  • Check if the role is feature delivery vs platform/infra vs maintenance.
  • If the description is short, use company size + industry + stack to infer the likely day-to-day.

Validate work setup and collaboration

Remote/hybrid/office labels are not enough. The real constraints are overlap hours, office days, and communication style.

  • Confirm whether “remote” is worldwide/EU/Romania-only and whether overlap hours are required.
  • For hybrid roles, ask how many days per week and whether they are fixed or flexible.
  • Check language requirements and cross-team dependencies (product, design, stakeholders).

Compare compensation realistically

To compare two offers, normalize everything to the same baseline and contract type. If salary is undisclosed, build a range based on market and validate early.

  • Normalize gross vs net and month vs year before you compare.
  • For B2B, account for taxes, accounting, unpaid time off, and risk.
  • Use market data as a sanity check, then negotiate with evidence (impact, scope, seniority).
