Job Description As an Active Directory third level support Engineer (m/f/d) you are part of a motivated, collaborative, and skilled team of Directory Services Specialists in a global environment which is operating and maintaining our enterprise-level Resource Directory infrastructure. This role involves troubleshooting complex issues, ensuring the stability, security, efficiency of our directory services, and collaborating with other IT teams to support business operations. Key Responsibilities: - Operation of Active Directory in a MS TIER-Model; - Troubleshoot and resolve complex AD-related issues in close cooperation with the specialists, external partners, vendors and other IT teams; - Develop and enforce AD security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards; - Perform on-demand audits and health checks of the AD environment to identify and resolve potential issues; - Operate, maintain and manage AD Backup solution; - Ensure synchronization of Entra ID data from on-premises AD; - Consulting and 3rd Level Support for AD and Entra ID for all internal customers in Continental; - Analysis, evaluation, and implementation of new technologies related to AD in Continental; - Participating in IT and business projects related to AD implementation in Continental; - Develop and maintain documentation for AD configurations, processes, and procedures. Qualifications - Academic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; - Experience in L3 AD service administration in a multi-domain forest, enterprise environment and EntraID - Experience in installing Domain Controllers, maintaining and troubleshooting AD site and services and FRS/DFSR replication structures; - Strong knowledge of AD replication, topology, troubleshooting, monitoring and auditing tools; - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others; - Experiences in scripting with PowerShell; - Good knowledge in Windows Server 2019 and 2022; - Familiarity with AD integration with other systems and applications; - Relevant certifications such as MCSE, MCSA (is a plus); - Experience with Red Forest administration (is a plus); - Willingness to travel (up to 10%); - English level minimum B2 Additional Information Ready to drive with Continental?
