Job Description Main objective of the job: - Provides technical support for pipeline architecture and various pipelines and proposes measures to improve service quality; Main attributions and responsibilities: - Incident management & providing service support for i4.0 data pipelines; - Configuration of IT applications; - Organization and execution of software maintenance measures; - Safeguarding of IT security; - Deploying i4.0-pipelines and doing sanity checks on these pipelines; - Configuration of the monitoring IT Landscape; - Developing specific scripts for the modular monitoring system according to the customer’s requirements or the team’s necessity; - Actively participating in workshops with the client; - Configuration of the application monitoring landscape; - Updating and maintaining the knowledge base and the documents that document the IT landscape; - Monitoring a distributed environment via Monitoring tools; - Promptly report any suspicious system behaviors; - Receiving incoming tickets and analyzing them; - Reads, understands and applies the procedures from area of responsibility and other interdepartmental procedures, applicable within the company; - Fulfils any other tasks related to area of responsibility, as requested by direct superior. Qualifications Studies: - University Diploma; - High school Diploma; Knowledge and Skills: - 2+ years of experience in a customer facing role; - Sound knowledge of Linux; - English (fluent speaking and writing), German is a Plus; - Being able to convey technical challenges to colleagues with no technical background in their own terms; - Familiar with scripting language (Ansible, Python); - Knowledge of issue tracking tools such as (JIRA, Confluence, etc) would be a plus; - Knowledge of issue tracking configuration automation tools (e.g. Ansible) would be a plus; - Knowledge of with Monitoring tools (e.g. Grafana/Prometheus) would be a plus; - Familiarity with versioning tools (e.g. Git) would be a plus; - Familiarity with the Microservices approach and good knowledge of Container providers (e.g. Docker) would be a plus; - Having fun at working with international, multicultural teams; - Customer oriented and well-organized skills.
