This role is designed to support flexible working arrangements: - Bucharest-based candidates: Hybrid work model - Candidates based in other cities in Romania: Fully remote - International candidates: Applications are welcome; however, relocation to Romania is mandatory if selected. Visa sponsorship will be discussed and initiated after successful completion of the first interview stage. Here is what you will do: - Assist in the design and development of High Voltage Substations (up to 400kV) for a diverse stages of project. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Civil, Structural engineers, designers, and project management ensuring project success. - Perform modeling/CAD activities in Autocad and Microstation based on rules provided by a senior engineer. - Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports in accordance with project requirements and industry standards (IEC/IEEE/ANSI/AS). - Good knowledge of MV and HV systems: Substation Equipment, Fittings and Assemblies for HV conductors (Compression join bolted assemblies & bolted Tee Clamps / Dropper supports / Conductor Spacers & Earth Stirrups / Adaptor Plates / Earthing Termination / Fittings for Tubular busbars). - Producing drawings for each stage of the project: Single Line Diagrams, HV and MV Substations Equipment Layout & Sections, Cable sizing, Cable Routing and Sections, Earthing and Lightning Layouts - Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance and incorporate best practices into designs. - Support senior engineers in project development.
